What We're Up To - Build 130 - Retaining Walls

Here we share some photos of what we’ve been up to lately, including planting out new beds, gardening, landscaping, and constructing gardens from our garden designs. What we’re up to – Build 130 in Hove involved some careful planning and hefty Retaining Walls hard landscaping!

Timber posts used as retaining walls on all sides of this hill side property were not up for the job. They were starting to fail under the pressure and rot was setting in at the base due to contact with the soil!…

We removed them all, dug back further, built new & stronger blocks walls, and then clad with timber to return to the softer look that was originally intended….
